Ribbon Vase
The most variable piece in our collection, bright bold ribbons of color overlap to produce an effect resembling the Aurora Borealis. Each color has its own chemical nature which reacts differently when set next to another. In some instances, the appearance of multiple colors is a result of the overlapping of color and/or the chemical interactions rather than the actual number of glass pieces used to make the vase. This becomes even more apparent in these flattened vases (rather than the ribbon bowls) where there is not only overlap between the colors but visual overlapping due to its flat shape. Please be aware that pattern and color will vary from vase to vase but rest assured that you will have a one-of-a-kind. We recommend choosing a transparent color combination for bright spaces where light can pass through the piece and an opaque combination for darker interiors.
